Reduction in price of gas for gas stoves.
June 25, 1888On and after June 1, 1888 the price of gas consumed in gas stoves, when used through separate meters, will be $1.75 per 1000 feet whenever the amount consumed is over 1000 feet in one month, with the usual rebate of 25 cents per 1000 feet for prompt payment making the net price $1.50 per 1000 cubic feet. At this low price the entire cooking for a family will cost from $1,00 to $8,00 per month, according to the amount of cooking done. For actual cost of using, convenience and perfection of cooking we refer to over 25 consumers who have large gas ranges now in use. We have a large life line of gas stoves and ranges, for both cooking and heating to select from which we sell at cost, at from $1.50 for a boiling stove to $26 for a large Range, also hot water generators for heating water for set boilers or baths.
