Tar and Feathers

Claire, Mich, Aug 14.- Charles Abbey, who is charged with a grave offense, was given a coat of tar and feathers Saturday night. The affair occurred as he was coming out of a dance hall on Main street, in the business portion of the town. He was seized, his clothing torn off and the tar and feathers applied. He is still in town and no arrests have been made, but the tar and feathers stick.
