The Dance of Death
August 18, 1888Ottawa, Ill August 17- Details of a tragedy at Prairie Center reached here to-day. A dance was given by a number of Norwegians. About midnight two young men got into a fight over a partner for a dance and one of them was stabbed. The men present took sides and revolvers and knives were used freely. Eight are report either shot or stabbed, four of whom may die.
